In 1968 and 1969, I was a Private First Class, E-3, Field Radio Relay and Carrier Equipment Repairman (MOS 31L20) assigned to Company A in the 11th Air Defense Signal Battalion of the 32d Army Air Defense Command at Kaiserslautern, Germany, posted to Team A-2 at Spangdahlem Air Force Base.
