My paternal grandfather served in the Army and was brought on with with Hughes Aircraft as a Radar Tech and sent to Germany. He lived on base at Ramstein beginning ~1954 and then his wife and 2 kids joined him around 1960. He was also a baseball pitcher and I have found articles linking him to the Sembach Tigers. I have letters addressed to my grandma when she lived there - addressed to 32nd Artillery Brigade APO 227 NY. He passed away in 2015 so I'm going on her memory here. This is a long shot, but curious if anyone has any info.
